Description

The Philips Evnia 27M2N5500 is a 27-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) gaming monitor designed for high-performance visuals. It features an IPS panel with a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz via DisplayPort and 144 Hz through HDMI. The monitor has a 1 ms GtG response time and includes a 0.5 ms Smart Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) mode to reduce motion blur during fast-paced gaming.

The display supports a standard brightness of 350 nits, increasing to 450 nits with HDR enabled and peaking at 500 nits for HDR content. It has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and holds a DisplayHDR 400 certification, indicating entry-level HDR capabilities.

Color accuracy is a key feature, with coverage of 125% sRGB, 93.5% DCI-P3, and 106% Adobe RGB color gamuts. These wide gamut capabilities ensure vibrant and realistic colors suitable for gaming and multimedia applications.

The monitor supports both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC, reducing screen tearing and stuttering for a smoother gaming experience. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone output.

For ergonomics, the stand allows for height adjustment up to 130 mm, along with swivel (±30°), pivot (±90°), and tilt (-5° to 20°) adjustments. The monitor also supports VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm) for additional flexibility.

The design features a “penguin foot” stand with a marbled effect in dark and light grey tones. Slim bezels on the top and sides create a modern look, with the panel border flush with the screen surface for an immersive viewing experience.
